QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of the State’s Manager Certification Requirements
- One or more years experience in food service.
- Physical and mental stamina and ability to perform job functions, tasks and duties.

TERMS OF

JOB GOAL: To provide each school child with food of high nutritious quality in an atmosphere of cleanliness, cheerfulness, and personal caring.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to a central menu supplied by the SFS Supervisor
- Trains SFS Technicians, assigns their work and checks their work by observation of performance and inspection.
- Maintains time and cost records.
- Prepares reports on menus and bills.
- Provides input on menus recognizing needs to children, available foods, allowable food costs and equipment facilities.
- Determines quantities needed and purchases food, using buying lists issued by central office.
- Inspects food deliveries for compliance with standards.
- Participates in cooking and food service tasks when not engaged in above duties.
- Counts cash received from sales, prepares deposit slip and bags money for banking.
- Supervises cleaning activities and maintains sanitation standards.
- Attends staff conferences held by Principal and SFS Supervisor.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the superintendent and/or evaluator.
PROFESSIONAL ETHICS:

- Reports to job-related injuries within 48 hours of work accident to the immediate supervisor.

- Attends meetings as directed.
- Serves on task force and decision-making committees, when appropriate.
